I am now able to offer regular singing lessons at my home in Clagiraba on the Gold Coast and in Mullumbimby on Mondays, and Tuesdays (limited spaces available).

 

I can offer a solid vocal technique that is tailored to each individual.  We will work on exercises to build your breath connection, the strength of your voice and range. Then, through vocal cross training we will refine your technique to suit the style of music which interests you. You will develop a toolbox of voice qualities and understand how to access them so that you can find your individual voice.

Children are welcome. We work on some basic technique and age appropriate songs. My Mullumbimby studio is very busy with around 20 children studying with me. Many are very interested in Music Theatre and we draw a lot from this repertoire. Next year I will be offering AMEB and Trinity College exams. 

 

We have end of term performances and participate in exams and eisteddfods. Children are encouraged to interact with eachother and sing in ensembles. On November 12th, some of my students sang at The Byron Music Society "Stars of Tomorrow" Concert by invitation.

I love helping people overcome their fear of singing in public and find their own voice, build on that and give you the skills to develop into the singer you want to be. How is your understanding of music? If you don't already do so, you will learn to read music. You will also have access to the network of musicians that I have known over the years. People who can play for your performances or exams. 

 

You are encouraged to record your lessons so you can hear your progress and refresh your memory. 

 

All styles and abilities are welcome.
